Minutes of the July 2002 Meeting of the CUAS.
July 11, 2002

The meeting was called to order at 7:05 P.M. by President Jeff Bryant.
There were 15 members present.

The club will be setting up a booth at 'A Day in the Park' on July 20 from 9
A.M. until 4 P.M. Members are encouraged to help out with booth duty and
spread the word about the club.

We still have a supply of T-shirts and 2003 calendars. Contact Dave Leake.

Our participation at "Taste of C-U" went very well. Alot of solar observing,
and talked with many people.

The next Family Skywatch is July 13.

July 11, 2002 is the 10th Birthday of the CUAS Observatory! We may do
something special to celebrate at the August meeting - stay tuned!

Phil Wall has installed the red deck lights at the Observatory - and they
work fine.

Wayne James gave a short presentation on a new teaching aid.

We then watched 2 episodes of the Hyperspace video.

The meeting was adjourned at about 8:30 P.M.
