Minutes of the November 2002 Meeting of the CUAS.
November 14, 2002

The Meeting was called to order at 7:10 P.M. by President Jeff Bryant.
There were 33 members and visitors present.

President Bryant welcomed the members of the UIAS who attended the meeting.

Annoucements:
The Astronomical League is sponsoring a Young Astronomer Award. Please
contact one of the Officers if you know someone who would like to apply.

A new link will be added to our website.

The Observing session scheduled for Nov. 2 at Allerton Park was called off
due to weather.

The Club CD project is temporarily on hold. However, we are still accepting
submissions - please contact Phil Wall or Jeff Bryant if you have something
you'd like to see put on the CD.

Treasurer's report from Dave Leake. Checking account has been moved. Balance
of $2,803.39.

The Club Officers for 2003 will be elected at the December meeting. The
following nominations were made:

Nominations will be held open until the December meeting.

The program was an 'Introduction to the Fall Sky' which provided newcomers
with methods for finding the most interesting objects. Also, a good review
for many 'old-timers' too.
