Minutes of the March 2003 Meeting of the CUAS.
March 13, 2003

The Meeting was called to order by President Jeff Bryant. There were 13
Members present.

Announcements:

a). Thanks to Audrey Ishii and Dave Leake for representing the Club at the
Robeson School Science Night!

b). The next Members Only viewing session will be March 29.

c). The next Family Skywatch will be April 5.  We plan to promote the
International Dark Sky Week at this observing session.

d). Daylight Savings Time begins April 6.

e). Tentative plans are to have an 'in-town' observing session on May 15
for the Lunar Eclipse. Promotion ideas were discussed.

f). Allertion Park Observing sessions are scheduled for May 3, and May 31.

The Club will be purchasing a Moon filter.


Program: Mike Matthews brought in a Celestron factory tour video that was
quite interesting.

The Meeting was adjourned about 8:30 P.M.
