The November 11, 2004 meeting of the Champaign-Urbana Astronomical Society
was called to order at about 7pm by Vice-President Mike Conron. 15 people
attended the meeting.

Mike Conron asked if there were any new nominations for club officers, and
there were no new nominations since the slate of nominees from the last
meeting. Mike called for a voice vote, and the members present voted for
the new slate of officers as follows:

President: Mike Matthews
VP: Mike Conron
Secretary: Guy Hampel
Treasurer: Phil Wall
5th Director: Jeff Bryant

That concluded club business.

The program of the evening was a presentation by Mike Conron, Bob
Nonnemann, and Mike Lockwood about the 30 inch Dobsonian telescope (MBM 30)
they built over the last 2+ years. Not only did they bring a slide show of
the history of building the monster scope, sharing both their successes
and failures along the way, they actually brought the 30 inch scope into
the dome and assembled it next to the Zeiss star projector. We should be
proud to have such active ATMers like MBM in our club! The meeting ended
with people gazing AT the MBM30.
