The meeting was called to order by President Mike Lockwood at 7:10 PM. First item was a review of the last meeting which was the telescope training session for the public. It was a success and many people seemed happy with the attention and information they received. The last skywatch had 3 CUAS members in attendence. The shed has undergone a beginning cleaning and is now packed less dense than before. Upcoming on April 22nd is the Allerton viewing session. Ideas: For the next sky watch, send flyers to the neighbors surrounding the CUAS observatory to try to convince them of their bad lights and to see if they would be willing to help us. Dome improvements needed: -Put plastic under the dome to reduce moisture inside. -Obtain more data readings from the data collector at the dome. -Need to start actively looking for one or more mowers to replace the failing two mowers we currently have. Talk topic suggestion proposed by John Stone on new telescope designs. The speaker for the night was Pres. Mike Lockwood who spoke on the history of amateur telescope making. Meeting adjourned at approximately 8:40.
