CLUB ITEMS OF BUSUNESS AND DISCUSSION

11-10-2007 -- Observing this Saturday.

11-13-2007 Lighting committee meeting.

Club Dues ¿ Discussion about raising them to $25.00

Estimate to upgrade the equatorial mount at the observatory. - $1,000.


Officer Elections

The following nominees are:

Guy Hampel - President

John Stone - Vice President

Willard Brinegar - Treasurer

Mike Conron - Secretary

Mike Lockwood - 5th Director

Wayne James made a motion to accept the slate of officers and Bill Marble
seconded the motion. It was passed unanimously by the membership present.


Other discussions

Guy Hampel reminded us that the next meeting on December 13th, 2007 is
the Christmas party.

February 20th, 2008 - Lunar Eclipse ¿ don¿t forget it! A quick check
on Starry Nights shows it kicking in around 6:30PM.

PROGRAM FOR THE EVENING

Mike Lockwood made a presentation about star partiers. What they are and
what to expect when attending one. Mike Conron and Mike Lockwood then
presented in detain the Okie-Tex star party they attended in October
of 2007.


There being no further business to be brought before the officers,
the meeting was adjourned at 8:30PM
